Since 2010, EYC Foundation’s Marine & Maritime Career Expo has been educating Anne Arundel County, Maryland students about the marine and maritime world and inspiring them to discover and pursue careers in the industry. The event connects local 10th, 11th and 12th graders with marine and maritime service and retail companies, trade schools, higher education institutions, military and government organizations.

After years of holding the Expo at a local high school, the annual event is currently held at Bert Jabin Yacht Yard in Annapolis where students have the added benefit of experiencing a working boatyard. They may see a Marine Travel Lift 75 moving boats from winter storage into the water, technicians repairing boats of all sizes and types, or craftspeople designing and building the boat of someone’s dreams.
