EYCF’s goal is to introduce the joy and life-enhancing benefits of sailing to local youth. Ky’Niya Henson, that’s been a recipient of multiple scholarships, is living proof that it’s working. She’ll tell you she loves the feeling of freedom she gets on the water and that sailing has helped her become more confident and less shy. Ky’Niya’s years in the program have also led to a dream come true – in 2023 she served as a Junior Sailing Counselor.

EYC Foundation provides scholarships to local children ages 6 to 14, of all abilities and backgrounds, whose families are in need of financial assistance. Recipients are determined by the EYCF Junior Sailing Committee members.
